So long Bosh

If you were at least a sports fan and happen to live in Canada, you’d know that July 7, 2010 marks the day Chris Bosh chose to cross the border and head to Miami.

These shots were taken back in November 22, 2008. It was my first time to shoot sports and what better way to take a crack at photojournalism than my first NBA experience as well. Armed with a bit of knowledge combined with my inner ear-to-ear grin, I came to shoot and cheer my heart out. Yet pictures alone can’t convey the experience of witnessing the pandemonium brought about by 10,000 Bosh fans that night at the Air Canada Centre. So this is how it feels to be in Toronto.

The 2-point Raptor loss in overtime against rival New Jersey Nets that night was an understatement to Torontonians compared to Bosh leaving the Toronto Raptors for Miami Heat. Deafening silence.

Farewell to Toronto’s southpaw Rookie and now an Olympian. Bring it in Miami Bosh!
